Submissions

ASUCJJ publishes twice a year in June and December. It only accepts previously unpublished submissions on topics touching on law, society and criminal justice.  Articles can be submitted by professionals, academics and students (graduate or undergraduate).

The manuscript should:

  • Have a title, author’s name, professional title (practitioner, professor or student), and abstract,
  • Follow the APA citation format (including, in-text citations and references),
  • Be between 3,500 and 7,000 words in length (including references), and
  • Be typewritten, double-spaced, and formatted in Microsoft Word.

Authors must observe all copyright rules and regulations for every manuscript submitted for publication to the Journal. For further information, please visit the U.S. Copyright Office website.
